Legislative Events

NTEU, both on a national and local level, work every year to ensure legislation to aid federal employees. The Action Alerts below give you some of the recent legislative battles and news stories NTEU is following.

In addition, each year, officers from many NTEU chapters all over the nation gather in Washington, D.C. This legislative conference serves multiple points. First, it opens up avenues of communication between NTEU as a whole and congressional representatives. Second, it brings to bear issues that NTEU feels need to be addressed in the following legislative session. Finally, it gives members the opportunity to become active on a face-to-face level with our representatives.
